Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

Participation in this Promotion (as defined below) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions form part of the promotion and by claiming the promotional offer, all claimants agree they have read, understood and accepted these terms in full.

Defined Terms

In these Promotion Terms and Conditions:

• "Claimant" means an individual that has met the Eligibility Criteria and successfully claimed the Promotional Offer.

• "Eligible Products" means Smeg Kitchen Appliances from the eligible categories and specific model numbers as listed in Clause 6 below.

• "Participating Retailer" means the following retailers authorised to sell Eligible Products and participate in this Promotion: Harvey Norman, Heathcotes Appliances, Winnings, Total Kitchens, Home Group Services (100% Home), Appliances Online and Farmers.

• "Promotion" means the Smeg Kitchen Appliances Cashback Promotion as described in these Terms and Conditions.

• "Promotional Period" means the period from 1 July 2026 at 12:00 AM (midnight) through 18 October 2026 at 11:59 PM (NZDT).

• "Promotional Offer" means the cashback amount as defined in Clause 2 of these Terms and Conditions.

• "Promoter" means the entity offering and administering this Promotion.

• "Promotion Website" means https://www.smegpromotions.co.nz where claims must be submitted online.

Promotional Offer

Subject to meeting the Eligibility Criteria (Clause 3), Claimants who purchase eligible Smeg Kitchen Appliances from any Participating Retailer(s) during the Promotional Period will receive cashback as follows:

The cashback is calculated on the combined purchase price of all qualifying Eligible Products included in the claim, excluding installation costs, delivery fees, spare parts, and any other costs or taxes imposed by the retailer or any other party. Eligible Products may be

purchased across more than one transaction and/or more than one Participating Retailer during the Promotional Period; the applicable cashback percentage is determined by the total number of Eligible Products across all valid proofs of purchase submitted with the claim, and is calculated on their combined purchase price. Cashback will be paid via bank transfer to the account nominated by the Claimant within 30 days of successful claim verification.

Eligibility Criteria

This Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years and over who meet all of the following criteria ("Eligibility Criteria"):

1. Have purchased three (3) or more Eligible Products from any Participating Retailer(s) during the Promotional Period;

2. Paid for the Eligible Products in full during the Promotional Period;

3. Submitted a valid claim via the Promotion Website prior to 18 November 2026;

4. Provided proof of purchase (receipt) and all information requested by the Promoter; and

5. Provided valid bank account details for receipt of the cashback.

Exclusions

The following persons are ineligible to participate in this Promotion:

• Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter. For clarity, "immediate family" means spouse, ex-spouse, child, step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, or first cousin.

• Any person who has already claimed cashback for the same products in a prior promotional period.

• Products purchased from a retail or online platform not listed as participating retailers.

• Purchases made for commercial, business, trade, resale or any other non-consumer purpose. This Promotion is open to consumers only, and Eligible Products must be purchased for personal, domestic or household use through a genuine retail (consumer) transaction.

The Promoter recommends that prior to purchasing Eligible Products, you verify that your chosen retailer is participating in this Promotion. Purchases made from unauthorised retailers or online marketplaces are not eligible for this Promotion.

How to Claim

Online Redemption Portal

6. Visit the Promotion Website at https://www.smegpromotions.co.nz

7. Complete the online redemption form with your full name, contact details, and address

8. Upload clear photographic or scanned proof of purchase (sales receipt) for each transaction being claimed. Where Eligible Products were purchased in more than one transaction or from more than one Participating Retailer, upload a separate receipt for each. Each receipt must show: the retailer name, purchase date, Eligible Products purchased (including model numbers), quantities, and amount paid

9. Upload a clear photograph of the serial number for each Eligible Product. The serial number must be legible. If the serial number is illegible, unclear, or not provided, the claim may be deemed invalid.

10. Provide your bank account details for deposit of the cashback

11. Submit the claim before 18 November 2026

Claim Deadline & Processing

12. All claims must be received by the Promoter via the Promotion Website by 11:59 PM on 18 November 2026. No claims will be accepted after this date.

13. Upon receipt of your claim, an automated confirmation email will be sent. This email confirms receipt of your entry only and does not guarantee approval of your claim.

14. All claims are reviewed by the Promoter to ensure they meet the Eligibility Criteria. Processing typically takes 14-21 days.

15. If your claim is approved, the cashback will be deposited to your nominated bank account via bank transfer within 30 days of approval.

16. If your claim is rejected, the Promoter will notify you by email with the reason for rejection.

Proof of Purchase Requirements

Claimants must submit clear photographic or scanned proof of purchase for each transaction being claimed. Where Eligible Products were purchased across multiple transactions or Participating Retailers, a separate receipt must be provided for each. Each proof of purchase must show:

• The name and location of the Participating Retailer

• The purchase date

• A clear itemised list of all Eligible Products purchased, including model numbers

• The amount paid for the Eligible Products on that receipt

• Confirmation that the purchase was paid in full

• Upload a clear photograph of the serial number for each Eligible Product. The serial number must be legible.
  

Receipts that are unclear, illegible, do not show model numbers, or do not show all required information will result in claim rejection. It is the Claimant's responsibility to ensure proof of purchase is clear and complete.

General Terms and Conditions

Verification and Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of all claims and Claimants (including identity, age, and place of residence). The Promoter may contact Participating Retailers to confirm purchases. Any Claimant who submits a false claim, provides false information, or does not meet the Eligibility Criteria will be disqualified and forfeits any right to the Promotional Offer.

Return of Products

If a Claimant returns any Eligible Product for which cashback has been claimed after the claim has been processed and approved, the Promoter reserves the right to reclaim the cashback from the Claimant. This clause does not affect the Claimant's rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ).

Non-Transferability

The Promotional Offer (cashback) is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or any other consideration.

Limitation of Liability

Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity), whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including but not limited to:

• Any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control);

• Any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference;

• Any claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control;

• Any variation in the cashback amount stated in these Terms and Conditions;

• Any tax liability incurred by a Claimant; or

• Any use of the cashback.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude, restrict or modify the rights of a consumer under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ). These Terms and Conditions must be read subject to those statutory provisions and will not affect any statutory rights that a Claimant may have.

Responsibility for Online Submission

It is the sole responsibility of the Claimant to complete the online redemption form accurately and submit the claim before the deadline. The Promoter takes no responsibility for:

• Late, incomplete or incorrect entries;

• Technical difficulties or failures on the Promotion Website;

• Failure to receive confirmation emails; or

• Costs associated with accessing the Promotion Website (such as internet data charges).

Modification and Cancellation

The Promoter reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend or cancel this Promotion at any time if circumstances warrant, including (but not limited to) fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Promoter's reasonable control. In the event of cancellation or material modification, the Promoter will publish notice on the Promotion Website and notify Claimants by email where possible.

Amendments to these Terms and Conditions

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, update or replace these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any amendment will be published on the Promotion Website and takes effect from the date of publication. The version of these Terms and Conditions in force at the time of a Claimant's purchase and/or claim applies to that claim. Continued participation in the Promotion after any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms and Conditions.

Promoter's Decision is Final

The Promoter's decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into regarding rejected claims or disputes.

Personal Information and Privacy

The Promoter collects personal information from Claimants to conduct this Promotion and process claims. Personal information may be disclosed to third parties including agents, contractors, service providers, and as required by law to regulatory authorities. By submitting a claim, Claimants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information for this purpose. Claimants have the right to request access to, and correction of, their personal information held by the Promoter. Requests should be directed to the Promoter at the contact details provided below.

Governing Law

This Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. By participating in this Promotion, Claimants consent to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
