Moved from pods to barista
Very happy, I’m new to barista coffee having moved from pods. Have dialled in my coffee after watching a lot of YouTube tutorials now it’s just one button. Normally just go for espresso so haven’t used the steam wand a lot, when I have used it seems ok.
Great coffee
Had it a week now and it makes great coffee! Still dialing in my grinder to get just the right grind size for it, but that's a user problem. Small thing to be aware of is getting the portafilter in to begin with is difficult, as the manual says it is. You can tilt it a bit and run just the front lug or just the back one around a few times to loosen it up and that will help. The steam wand has lots of pressure and heats milk faster than my old Sunbeam machine. Machine is pretty quiet (aside from the very first start when it doesn't have any water in it). Have been able to run it with my daughter asleep in the next room without waking her up
