The Smeg 90cm Classic Mixed Cooktop brings together responsive induction cooking and the control of a gas flame on one black ceramic glass surface. Four induction zones and a powerful 6kW gas burner give you the flexibility to choose the cooking method that suits each dish. Boil water, simmer sauces and cook over a flame while preparing several dishes across the spacious layout.

The four induction zones offer nine power levels, with Booster and Double Booster functions providing extra heat when needed. Automatic pot detection recognises compatible cookware and identifies the relevant zone control, helping make everyday operation straightforward. White slider controls allow easy adjustment of induction power, while a front-mounted knob controls the gas burner.

Two MultiZone areas add flexibility when cooking with larger cookware. Each combines two induction zones into a 36 x 21cm cooking area, providing more room for suitable pans and griddles. The Bridge option and dedicated Grill function further support cooking across connected zones, making the cooktop useful for family meals and entertaining.

Four end-of-cooking timers help you manage different dishes, with an audible alarm and remaining-time display keeping progress easy to follow. Quick Start provides faster initial heating, while the Keep Warm function maintains cooked food at a gentle temperature. A Pause option adds convenience when cooking needs a brief interruption.

The Classic design combines an angled glass edge, steel-effect gas control knob and sturdy cast iron pan stands. Brass burner construction and a steel layer beneath the glass provide a robust foundation for regular use. Residual heat indicators, a control lock, gas safety valves, and automatic shut-off for overheating or overflowing liquids support confident everyday cooking. Advanced Eco Logic also allows the maximum electrical power draw to be adjusted, giving you greater control over the cooktop’s available power while retaining its versatile cooking options.
